I just saw a streak of lightning that seemed as though it flashed just for me!

So, I now have a smartphone. Have been using it for about a week.

It can be a bit overwhelming at times - synchronising my hotmail and gmail accounts just made a whole lot of information clutter up the place, so I removed them. I don't need to check my email perpetually anyway.

And I got whatsapp, thinking it would be a good way to save money. But I don't like the way information can keep bombarding me from different sources. I like everything in one place, and keeping a record of all my messages chronologically looks like it's going to be a nightmare.. Or maybe the phone is smart enough when I connect it to the laptop. haven't tried yet.

But other than that, it's a nice phone! Very smooth and fast and makes you wanna keep using it. =]

Also, I'm perplexed. So if someone has Facebook, Twitter, SMS, WhatsApp, MSN and any other form of communication (not to mention phonecalls themselves), how does he/she remain sane with so much info pouring in from every corner?!

Also, teacher's words cut deep. Real deep. =\

Bluesssss

Noooooooooooo skype was being problematic and wouldn't sign in, so I had to uninstall and reinstall it, which meant losing the nice version 4.2 =(( I suppose I could go find that version, but I really should be doing my assignments now.

Darn this sentimentalism.

At least it retains the conversations! =]

As if the post-LitFest blues weren't enough, today's good company has left me so distracted, I don't know how I'm going to complete all those assignments...

Postcard to home reached yesterday! =D and vy's postcards just arrived too =]

I really should get Late Night Blues from her. Soon. Perfect for this mood.

compromised assignment =\

A serious, serious case of post-vacation blues. Hopefully I can channel these feelings into the articles.
In all my years of education, I've never dreaded or strongly disliked any subject - at least, not on a sustained basis. This semester changes things though. My assignment feels very shoddy, even to me.
My protests that this is too much for me sound feeble even to me. Maybe it's because I'm overloading and doing 7 modules, but I don't think so... This just isn't my type of writing. Sure, I guess I will improve, but this is going to hang like a deadweight. Like those stalactites at the Mammoth Cave, growing over centuries.
Mansfield Park is a gorgeous read. And more happy news - I found

the third book in the Narnia series at a bazaar today! Woot =D
