I have a glass-topped table.

When it's late at night and the whole house is quiet, and I get a text message, the tiny beep and single vibration (that sounds oxymoronic) seem amplified.

It makes me jump.

(This has been happening ever since I started having long SMS convos. J1, I think. It still makes me jump. And on an unrelated sidenote, I'm just about to have a thunderstorm! and I'm very worried that by the time exams are over, it won't be raining as prettily anymore and I can't take a walk in the rain.)

Hey! I got my friend to translate what you said, cos I don't understand Chinese, and according to her, you said something to the effect of:

It is tough to find someone in this world who can share the same feelings or get the same idea concerning a joke.

Haha yea, I get what you mean.

haha not to sound rude/interfering/intolerant in any way, but why would you oh chinese person, type in mandarin on her profile?

Beats me too, vy.

Maybe he/she wanted to challenge me. Like, "Ooh is she gonna bother to find out what this says or dismiss it as spam?"

I hope I live up to your expectations, oh Chinese person.

What innuendo? You mean Bala's comment? Hahaha it's more of a throw-around term for them =D

But I think the random comments are kinda cool! Except the ones that advertise for suspicious products.

Woohoo rainy season! Your nose protests because of the flu, not the rain.

Um hello Jessenia! Thanks hahaha. I'd like to believe you're a real person.
