Let me backtrack to the week after recess.
Monday: MB107 (Biz Law) presentation, meeting in the morning to finalise everything. FINALLY managed to borrow A Thousand Splendid Suns (by the author of The Kite Runner). SIFAS Orchestra rehearsal at 7.30pm.
Tuesday: Floorball, 4-5.30pm
Wednesday: Resume draft due, HL107 (Classical Literature) group rehearsal for presentation.
Thursday: HL107 Presentation. HL105 (Singapore Literature and Culture I) assignment due. KISS&TELL Series: Talk by Dr Lim Lee Ching, on Singapore poet Arthur Yap, and Dr Sim Wai Chew, on a local novel.
Friday & Saturday: Jon and Keith and I talked about Epiphany plays and assignments, it's a relief to know I'm not the only extreme-last-minuter. There was a bazaar at NTU! Bought some stuff. Knew it was a good choice when a couple of my friends asked me to get it for them too. SIFAS orchestra rehearsal/class.
Sunday: PA rehearsal.
(I just copied all that from my diary.)
Somehow managed to get my readings for the week done. The Elanor Wong play, half of The Republic, Hard Times, CS117 (Social Trends and Popular Culture) readings. Didn't touch biz law textbook at all. Thought it was a busy week but the following week was just as busy.
Monday: Prepare for HW111 (Mastering Communications) Assignment 3. After Biz Law seminar, Seok Peng and I went to the HSS library, and nearly doubled over in silent laughter over our plans of how to evict the guy sleeping in the centre of the seats we wanted to sit on. =D We didn't actually execute our plans, but the guy woke up of his own accord and walked away! SIFAS rehearsal: 7.30pm.
Tuesday: Psychology survey (we were paid). LitFest (Epiphany put up four plays) drama rehearsal: 8pm. (I was helping out backstage and made cool friends - Kularesh and Kabilan and Germaine and Jean.) Skipped SIFAS rehearsal.
Wednesday: CS117 Mid-Term exam. HW111 Assignment 2 (Resume Writing) due. Lester and I found that my shirt colour and his shoe colour matched. =D Jas was awesome as usual. Plays: from 7.30pm till late. Thank goodness for Kula. We took a late night walk after the plays were over to get closer to his Hall, and I dropped off at a bus stop near his hall. (It was my idea; I don't see why guys have to be the ones being nice all the time and waiting for girls' buses to arrive.) Not sure if there was SIFAS rehearsal.
Thursday: The plays were being held over two days but I couldn't help today. Rushed to SIFAS for rehearsal after lessons.
Friday: SIFAS orchestra performance. Phew, now that's done.
Saturday: Classes at SIFAS.
Sunday: PA rehearsal.
It rained on a couple of days. I got mildly drenched (on purpose of course). Lovely.
Readings I managed to get done: The Aeneid (YESSSSSS I finished it!), Mrs Warren's Profession, Conclusion, CS117 readings, HW111 Assignment stuff. Other random books.
This week has started off on a good note too. Dr Jernigan and Prof Van Der Kaamp are directing/producing plays this week and I'm helping backstage again. Met HW111 group in the morning, and LICHEE tagged along with Herrick (or rather, Herricka =D )! Love meeting her around. As in, Lichee. Managed to talk to the Ks and S after lecture. Did the CsIA greeting with Jas after HL105 tutorial. Rushed to WKWSCI to meet sister's friend Jal's friend Jun to record something for her Final Year Project. Rushed back to The Black Box for this week's plays rehearsals. Managed to call Sudarshan somewhere in the middle of today, pity I couldn't make it for his concert.
Got home around 10.30, it's 1.16 am now. Gotta finish reading Mrs Warren, think of a thesis statement for 103, do up the app form for the Internship and clear the house cos guests are coming on Thursday.
