Everyday, I find more of 'my kind' around.

(Though that does take away the thrill of being unique..)

Love this, from asofterworld.com (as you can see).

My essay looks to be in an acceptable condition! I think I can finish it by tonight and hand it in tomorrow.

And it's finally study time after that.

I know I made the right choice in taking Literature, cos for the first time since P6, I feel like studying hard.

Poetry on the walls.

Today was fun! Geraldine and Alina did their multimedia assignment for Creative Writing. (I wanna take this module next sem!) They printed out a couple of poems and cut out the words and punctuations, and put them in boxes, after putting blu-tac on the back of each word, for passers-by to pick up and jumble and create poems of their own. By sticking words on the walls.

I don't like the stuff I created but I'm putting them up here anyway, for memory's sake.

Crispin says they're very Ezra Pound-ish. Imagist poetry. I disagree, I think they're just nonsense. And I forgot to take a picture of the entire wall. =S

Idunnohowtospellhisname started to read innuendoes in my 'poems'! But Gerry told me not to change them so oh well. They're meant to be innocent nonsense =]

The Circle of No Life

Aaron's group used this picture during HW111 presentation today =D
Right now, I score 2/7. Do I get a bonus mark subtracted for not knowing what the flower thing is? And the one right on top is really familiar but I can't remember what it is.
I have got a life =]

This is exactly how I feel about my essay.

"We can be two rebels."

Hardly any blogs left to read anymore, people aren't updating or have abandoned the whole project =(

Blogger has some really cool new backgrounds now! Will experiment once I make headway with 103 essay and 111 presentation and MB107 tutorials and e-learning lectures and HL107 readings. Sigh.

I'm still getting used to this spacebar (on my new laptop), my right index finger doesn't press on it hard enough sometimes.

I'd been wanting to get a wallet, the type guys use, cos it's cool and it fits into my jeans pocket. Had a look at the ones at the John Little sale at the EXPO, and managed to get a ladies' version. Much more handy than the usual bulky ladies' wallets.

THANK YOU to the unknown lady who got off 131 with me and spontaneously shared her umbrella (though it was hardly raining) and who apologised for not being able to share her umbrella all the way to SIFAS cos she was going straight ahead. =]

I had a strange thought.

Suppose I were to write a book about my life. Make it sound like a novel, not an autobiography. But using events from my life and using myself as a character.

What if no one believed that I was being honest? What if people refuse to believe that someone behaved/thought that way? What if they dismissed it (me) as an unreal fictional character?

And most importantly, why is there nothing I can do about that?

My sister has just announced to all her MSN contacts that she just loves disturbing her younger sis. -_-

Both my lectures were e-lectures today so I had the day off.

Today's haul:

- 7 new albums at a clearance sale, which means lotsa good music (with advice from the music twin =D).

- A walk in the rain to Plaza Singapura from The Cathay.

- Alice In Wonderland and wild mushroom soup. "You used to be much more...muchier. You've lost your muchness." This, by the way, is grammatically incorrect.

- Took bus 14 on an impulse cos it came at once, got off at East Coast Rd at St Pats and walked along the park connector to Marine Parade.

- About to finish A Thousand Splendid Suns, though I should probably have concentrated on The Metamorphoses of Ovid. Ah well.

- Run Round Singapore tomorrow. It's an event to mark NTU's 55 years. I registered for a run at East Coast so I don't have to go all the way to school.

HAVE TO START ON ESSAYS!

gramophone FTW.

Last night was the final day of plays. Both Epiphany plays and Black Camel Theatre plays are finally over, two show days and a couple of rehearsal days each finally done.

You don't need alcohol to get high, just need the right bunch of friends and very little sleep per person.

Jenn and I were gushing about the moon on the way to the bus stop, Alina and Gerry were talking about something else ahead of us, Izzad and Hazwan were a little embarrassed I think. hahaha. But we finally sobered down a little on the MRT. It was almost 10 pm after all (though that's more like 6 in the evening nowadays), even the adrenaline that had been powering us the past few days was running out.

Me: I wanted to say that I think your hair is really cool.
Hazwan: Oh thanks man! You just made my day. Um, night. But today's not the best day, it looks better sometimes..
Me: HAHA.
Alina: -.-

....

Me: So where are you getting off?
Hazwan: I'm changing to the red line at Jurong, I live at ______. (I'm not protecting his identity. I forgot where he lives.) You live in the East right.
Me: How did you know?
Hazwan: You have the East look. =)

Hahaha so cool, for a second I felt like I live in the US/Europe where people can tell which part of the country you're from. (Walk It Out by UNK automatically started playing in my head. NOW EAST SIDE WALK IT OUT, NOW WEST SIDE WALK IT OUT..)

Went to the airport this morning to receive guests. Made a trip to gramophone at PP on the way home. Was looking for Boys Like Girls, but couldn't find it! =O BUT finally found Chris Brown's first album! PLUS I found Drake. But I'm saving the money for tomorrow, plan to go to gramophone's anniversary sale. No biz law lecture or HW111 lecture tomorrow! Which means I'm free tomorrow.

Walked home from Parkway in a drizzle, and made the cuffs of my jeans fray even further.

Movie with sister tomorrow!
